MY CONVICTIONS
Learning never stops — not about our work, and not about ourselves. Every session, every case, every challenge is an opportunity to grow. I hold a deep respect for the idea that clinical knowledge is not fixed or singular, but shaped by context, relationship, culture, and lived experience. When clinicians cultivate self-knowledge alongside professional knowledge, the result is richer clinical work, stronger professional integrity, and a career that’s sustainable over the long haul.
This conviction guides everything I do as a supervisor, consultant, and guide for mental health clinicians. I approach supervision and consultation from a collaborative, reflective stance — one that values multiple perspectives, thoughtful questioning, and an openness to not-knowing. Rather than offering rigid answers, I aim to create a space where reflection and skill-building go hand in hand, and where meaning is explored rather than prescribed. Together, we deepen understanding of both clients and self, while building practices that feel ethical, effective, and enduring.
At the same time, I take genuine satisfaction in the practical side of running a practice. I enjoy untangling insurance knots, streamlining billing systems, and creating processes that actually work. I see this behind-the-scenes problem-solving as an extension of care — thoughtful structure that supports clinicians in doing their best work. My goal is to make billing and administrative tasks feel less overwhelming and more manageable, so clinicians can feel confident that the business side of their practice is in good hands.

I am a licensed mental health clinician and clinical supervisor practicing in Williston, Vermont. I earned my M.A. in Clinical Counseling and my B.A. in Psychology and Dance.
I spent ten years working in community mental health agencies before transitioning to private practice, gaining experience with a wide range of clients, systems, and clinical challenges. Along the way, I completed specialized training in EMDR, mindfulness, mindful self-compassion, and yogic philosophy. My practice is informed by Existential Theory, Narrative Therapy, Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and neuroscience. These approaches continue to inform my clinical work and supervision and consultation, particularly my attention to context, meaning-making, and the unique perspectives each clinician brings to their work.
Beyond formal training, I am a certified yoga instructor and lifelong mover, and I deeply value the wisdom our bodies hold. This perspective shapes how I approach both therapy and supervision, emphasizing embodied awareness, relational presence, and the integration of personal insight with professional skill.
-
Outside of work, I enjoy dance, theater, live music, traveling, being outside, throwing dinner parties, and nurturing my relationships. This substantial zest for life keeps me grounded and inspired, and reminds me why supporting clinicians matters so much. Helping others thrive begins with ensuring the people doing this meaningful work feel supported, resourced, and seen as whole humans.
